About Leaders of Evolution

Leaders of Evolution (LoE) are passionate about education. We expertly design and deliver technology-enhanced e-learning courses focused on leadership, social and emotional learning, career readiness and sports coaching for students, teachers, athletes, coaches and the wider community

We design and deliver LoE courses into the education sector for 10 to 18-year-old students. Our suite of courses currently engages 9,000+ students across 260+ schools all over the world. Our goal is to connect with 100,000+ learners by 2025.

E-learning Hub Partnerships form an important arm of the company. We provide a full-stack e-learning service, inclusive of a tailored Learning Management System (LMS), e-learning strategy, online course design and development as well as online e-commerce marketing.

Damian's career pathway, goals and philosophy have always had a clear focus on the development of others and the building of respectful and productive relationships to achieve this. By placing people and relationships as the most important aspect of Damian's professional approach he has a proven track record of success in delivering results with the support of identified partners. A passionate believer in leadership, education and development, much of Damian's learning to date has been influenced with his involvement through and in sport. The community aspect of sport, its inherent need for cohesiveness and the importance of developing high performing teams continues to be a driver in Damian's ongoing development as a professional. As a former player, coach, educator and mentor in sport and his professional career Damian has developed and sustained a passion for identifying and supporting individuals, small groups and teams through a shared approach to learning and outcomes based results. This has not only satisfied his own personal quest for professional growth but has placed others in positions that they have been able to leverage to support their own goals.

Jon Shepherd

Jon has established a unique professional skill set from 20 years global experience starting as an NCAA Student-athlete and graduating from Nova South Eastern University, Florida, USA as a Bachelor of Business Administration. Continuing his affiliation with elite level sport Jon also completed an Elite Athlete Mentoring degree from the Australian College of Applied Psychology as part of his post graduate study. Jon represented Australia at the World University Games, whilst also playing professional basketball in Australian & New Zealand National Leagues following his international collegiate journey and understands the world and business of sport on a global scale. As an astute strategic thinker, he serves Leaders of Evolution (LoE) in the portfolio areas of commercial partnerships, business model innovation, sales and marketing. This role has enabled LoE to acquire and service a diverse global client base, inclusive of Essendon Football Club, Gold Coast Suns, Special Olympics Australia as well programme delivery with NCAA institutions, such as Syracuse University, San Francisco State University, James Madison University and East Carolina University. His exceptional interpersonal skills propel Jon in establishing meaningful connections with C-Suite executives, professional athletes and coaches, student-athletes, minority groups, as well as entry level professionals, interns and the wider community. Jon’s learning and development has resulted in multiple onsite collaborative sessions with Google and YouTube in 2018 and 2019, and most recently LoE was accepted into Amazon Web Services (AWS) EdTech Accelerator Program. His LoE EdTech commentary has been published in Sports Business Journal, Channel 9 News, Herald Sun newspaper and Triple M radio. Jon resides on the shores of Australia’s beautiful Gold Coast where he spends his time off surfing, fishing and enjoying the outdoors.

He has led, managed and consulted on business and change in Australia, NZ, the UK, US and Asia. He provides leadership assessment and development services and works as an advisor and coach with business owners, boards, executives and Government senior leaders. Clients include NASDAQ, ASX, Public companies, Government and a range of medium to large SMEs including privately held and PE backed and member based organisations.

Dean is CPA qualified with over 20 years’ experience in the public practice accounting industry. Dean has a very hands on approach and works closely with his team at VMG to ensure a strong client relationship is formed and the right outcome is achieved for each and every client. Dean is happy to work with small to large businesses as well as individual taxpayers. Over the 20 years Dean has developed skills and alliances to help all types of businesses. Dean states “If I can’t help the client with their needs, I will know or will find a contact that can assist”. Dean is married with two children and has a strong passion for AFL footy. Dean played football for 20+ years and has also been involved with administration of local footy for 20+ years

Cameron has a diverse background in the business world that has taken him to the US, UK, European and Asian business markets. Cameron has over 20 years’ experience of running business’ and structuring deals across a diverse group of companies including Excon, Shell, Holcim Cement and Caterpillar. Having originally a Military background, Cameron transitioned into the business world in the late 90’s and became the CEO of a global safety company based in Chicago Illinois and a medical nursing recruiting company based out of Austin Texas. He has developed many global connections through his business life. Cameron’s military background is highlighted by being a Graduate of Australia Royal Military College of Australia which included a prestigious exchange to the United State Military Academy, West Point and numerous combat orientated command positions. This lead him more recently to consulate for business’s in the Military space including Fusion Sport. Cameron was able to use his knowledge and network to work with the US, UK and Australian Military to follow on pilot existing programs as well as introducing the Smartabase technology into Special Forces units and traditional combat orientated units.
