As an American student, I can’t say that I’m extremely familiar with Australian academic regulations. Come to think of it, I’m no more familiar with American academic regulations either. However, one thing that unites most places is criticism and scepticism for education systems – especially when it comes to online schooling.

The Origin of NESA

The New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) is an independent statutory authority reporting to an independent Board and the NSW Minister for Education. They officially replaced the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards NSW (BOSTES) on January 1, 2017. 3. Deliver the Higher School Certificate.

NESA says, “Making sure all children and young people in NSW leave school ready to take advantage of life’s opportunities, as well as to rise to its inevitable challenges, is at the heart of what we do.”
