Year 9 & 10 Student-athletes

The Young Leaders in Sport eLearning courses have been designed to develop the skills young athletes require to be effective leaders in the sporting environment. It will raise their awareness of leadership skills and principles, challenge them to apply these into their sporting environment and encourage ongoing reflection and learning from their experiences.

Winning on the weekend is important, but developing life skills using sport as the vehicle is of far greater significance. Our holistic athlete development approach equips emerging athletes with the understanding and frameworks to apply leadership skills, both, on and off the field of play.

Varsity College

“The course provided a real point of difference compared to other Athlete Development & Sports Excellence Programs. The curriculum addressed current trends empowering students to transfer life-skills well outside their chosen sport. I highly recommend the course to all emerging athletes and look forward to being involved in 2018 and beyond.”
